Gallery Exhibits:
Memory Lane: Three Decades of Sandpiper A retrospective tribute to our early members. We celebrate the gallery’s rich heritage of artistic talent in this “walk down memory lane” exhibit.
January 17—February 10 *CALL FOR ART* Kaleidoscope of Color A non-juried show open to all artists. This exhibit features works by dozens of artists, in a variety of mediums, all representing their interpretations of the theme. Contact the gallery for submission information.
February 14—March 23 In addition to this unique opportunity to exhibit, the Sandpiper Art Gallery, located at 306 Main Street in Polson, welcomes all artists and art lovers to join the gallery to receive all of the membership benefits. Featured Artists: Multimedia An invitational show of quilts, raku, fiber art, and leatherwork from Judy Colvin, Matt & Heather Holmes, Monique Kleinhans, and Jeff Medved.
March 27—May 4 Inspired By… Sandpiper photographers offer their images as inspiration to Sandpiper member artists working in other mediums. This unique show pairs the resulting paintings, sculptures, and other work with the photos that inspired them.
May 8—June 15 Reservation Views Third annual exhibit featuring work created during the Flathead Reservation Plein Air Paint-out. Prizes will be awarded for community-voted and Sandpiper member-voted favorites.
June 19—July 6 Featured Artists: Photographers An invitational show featuring the photography of Judith Bromley, Tony Bynum, Paula Craft, Jay Cross, and Joe Weydt.
July 10—August 17 Featured Artists: Painters An invitational show featuring the paintings of Kelly Apgar, Lavonne Burgard, Mary Kelley, Phil Korrell, and Alice Varnum.
August 21—September 28 *CALL FOR ART* Horsin' Around A non-juried show open to all artists, showcasing their interpretations of the theme. This exhibit celebrates horses, horse culture, ranching, and related activities. Contact the gallery for submission information.

Tenth Annual Wolrd-Wide Paint-Out Painters, young and old, come join in the 10th annual World Wide Painting Event in Polson, Montana on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. Join painters from all over the world, all s painting on the same day. There is NO charge; it is free and fun! Just bring your painting gear down to River Side Park at the east end of the Polson Memorial Bridge at 9:00AM Saturday, September 15th to check in. You may paint there or any location you choose. We will meet back at the park at 4:00PM for a group photo to be posted on the IPAP Web site. At the park your work will be shown and the public is invited to view and purchase paintings. There will be a raffle for all participants with prizes donated by many local businesses. Don't miss the experience of a day of painting with artists all around the world!
