Carolyn Webb has been weaving baskets for over 10 years. It has become a craft for her that integrates passion, music and reeds into a hand woven basket.

Born and raised in Western Washington, She spent her summers in Condon, Mt. where her family still owns a home. During one of her summer visits she took a basket weaving class from a local artist thus beginning her interest in the craft. Later while living in Illinois, she began taking weekly weaving classes developing a true love of the craft.

Carolyn has been teaching classes off and on since moving to the Bigfork area in 2002. Though she weaves with traditional reed Carolyn tries to incorporate a bit of Montana in each of her baskets, whether it be with a pine cone, a deer horn button or a natural willow weaver. She encourages creativity in her classes so that each basket has a personal touch from its maker.
